Maverick Derivatives

Founded in 2017 by three traders, Maverick Derivatives is a proprietary trading firm with headquarters in Amsterdam and a second office in Singapore. We specialise in U.S. Equity Options, Crypto Options, and Delta One products, trading primarily on U.S. markets and various crypto exchanges. As a proprietary trading firm, we trade for our own account, utilising in-house developed trading software in conjunction with a hands-on, data-driven approach.

What makes Maverick different is our open and casual culture. We have a flat organisational structure where ideas matter more than titles, and where everyone, from junior traders to the founders, works closely together. Traders at Maverick don’t just follow instructions; they take ownership early on and are involved in designing and implementing strategies while learning from experienced colleagues. We believe in a pragmatic approach to trading: staying focused, working collaboratively, and always looking for ways to improve performance. Technology plays a key role in everything we do. By developing our trading software in-house, we can quickly adapt to changing markets and provide our traders with the tools they need to succeed. This combination of technology and trader-driven strategies helps us stay competitive in a fast-moving industry.

Graduate Trading Summer Internship 2026 - Amsterdam Over the course of 9 weeks, you’ll get the day-to-day experience as a Trader at Maverick Derivatives. During this intership, which consists of hands-on project work, training sessions and workshops led by experienced traders, social activities and much more. This program prepares you for your next step to become a Graduate Trader in one of our trading teams. You will work on one of our trading desks with traders, developers, and other teams. If you demonstrate to be a good fit, you will be invited to join us as a full-time Graduate Trader after the program! The program kicks off on July 1st, 2026. What You’ll Be Doing Conduct comprehensive data analysis projects on financial markets; Perform in-depth quantitative analysis to support trading strategies; Provide insightful coverage on the latest news and developments; Support the trading team in various ad-hoc projects....
