NIBC is the enterprising bank for entrepreneurs. We share a forward-thinking, can-do attitude. It’s what we call our ‘THINK YES’ mentality. By being adaptive and flexible, we think and act like entrepreneurs to support our corporate clients in building their businesses.
The industries where we operate in are Savings, Mortgages, Real Estate, and Infrastructure. We focus on financing assets for our clients to keep making a difference, because assets have value and enables future benefits including those beyond material wealth. With offices in The Hague, Brussels, Frankfurt and London, we are perfectly placed to put our expertise to work for our clients.
NIBC empowers your ambitions by providing a unique opportunity to kickstart your career through our Talent Program. You could be a part of this program, too! In this program, you and your fellow trainees (a diverse and international group) will focus on personal and professional development. As a part of a midsize and entrepreneurial bank, you will have an immediate impact in your role. Learning on the job is a key aspect of this process, and you will be challenged with numerous hands-on exercises and cases to develop your personal and professional skills.
The Talent Program kicks off with an onboarding week, during which you will receive a gamified introduction to NIBC and banking. Together with a diverse and international group of fellow analysts and colleagues you will participate in five days of networking and bonding, and become immersed in the bank’s business model.
After the onboarding week, you will determine your personal development plan together with your coach and manager. The plan will be tailored to you with a focus on personal-, professional- and technical growth. You will be allocated a personal budget to help you achieve your ambitions and work more time-efficient.
In a sequence of four, 2-day modules, you will receive one-on-one coaching as well as group training to kickstart your development plan. Learning by doing is key in this process – you will be challenged with many hands-on exercises and cases to hone your skills.
In parallel, you will start with your Think Yes Challenge. Together with a group of interdisciplinary analysts, you will initiate a project that contributes to bank-wide issues of strategic importance. It is an opportunity to develop your Think Yes mentality, make an impact, and gain exposure to top management. During the closing event you will pitch the results directly to NIBC’s managing board.
