Join our dynamic market making organization!

Responsibilities

You are responsible for assisting traders in their day-to-day activities, helping them to spot and research profitable opportunities, as well as to manage and optimize positions. Your day-to-day activities consist of gathering, analyzing and visualizing trade data.

Together with the quants and developers you work on research, development and maintenance of different algorithms, data-driven tools and databases. You will actively grow your knowledge about trading systems and algorithms, financial derivatives, and market making practices.

After graduating from your Master’s program you will be eligible for starting in a position as Junior Trader.

  • Next to your academic career, you work at All Options a couple of days per week;
  • You collect, analyze and visualize trading data using Python to answer research questions and to provide insights to the trading teams;
  • You work closely with the traders to help them spot and research profitable opportunities;
  • You are able to make an analysis of data and come to logical findings. You become an expert in collection, analysis and interpretation of trade data and key performance indicators. You use Python as main tool to understand and apply relevant financial and statistical theory;
  • You share your knowledge with the team and you are responsible for transferring knowledge and best practices;
  • After graduating from your Master’s program you will move on to become Junior trader.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a quantitative university Master’s program, for example in Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics or Computer Sciences
  • Excellent numerical and problem solving / analytical skills. Solid programming skills and experience, preferably in Python, R or Matlab. On the job, you will be programming in Python.
  • 0 – 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong interest in option trading and financial markets, demonstrated through attended courses at university, extracurricular activities, and/or trading (work) experience.
  • Available 16 hrs per week
