Avania is currently looking for a Biostatistician I (1.0 fte), location Bilthoven office, the Netherlands.

In the Analytical Services department, you will be working with a fast-growing team of approximately 30 Data Analysts and Biostatisticians that are mainly located in Boston and Bilthoven. Job Profile

As as Biostatistician, you:
• Support study design and co-write study protocol statistical sections
• Perform sample size calculations
• Develop Statistical Analysis Plans 
• Program and validate tables, listings and figures
• Interpret statistical results and take part in client communication
• Define and program data visualization dashboards (SAS, Power BI) and other trial data analytics
• Standardize data structures
• Identify data trends and safety concerns

Function Requirements

• Life sciences, Bio-informatica, Statistics, Econometrics or other relevant masters degree, PhD is a plus
• Experience with statistical data analysis
• Experience with statistical programming (preferably in SAS)
• Experience with study design (including Bayesian adaptive designs) and CDISC standards and programming is a plus
• Accuracy with strong attention to detail
• GCP and/or ISO14155 knowledge is a plus, not a requirement
• Proficient in the use of computer and software systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player
• Stress resilient
• Fluent in English 
• Proficient in Dutch
• Permanently located near Bilthoven office
• Preferably available for 0.8 to 1.0 fte
