Role Description
We are seeking a Junior Consultant to join our Market and Liquidity Cluster at Neon-Advisory. In this role, you will collaborate with clients to navigate key areas such as Market Risk, Interest Rate Risk, Liquidity Risk, Commodity Risk, and Capital Structures.
As a Junior Consultant, you will:
- Assist in conducting risk assessments and providing analytical insights to enhance organizational resilience.
- Support senior consultants in developing and implementing strategic solutions for clients.
- Work on financial modelling, data analysis, and risk quantification projects.
- Engage in research and report writing, transforming complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Work in a hybrid setup, balancing independent work and team collaboration in our Amsterdam office.
Qualifications
- A recent MSc graduate in Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
- 0-1 years of experience, preferably in financial services, risk management, or consulting (internship experience is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of risk modelling, market and liquidity risk, or financial analytics.
- Strong exposure to Python or another object-oriented programming language is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
- A proactive and team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
