For our Automation & Integration team, we are looking for an Automation DevOps engineer that would like to kick-start a career at NIBC. Together with your team, you are developing and maintaining Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Copilots etc.) and automated processes. Quite some critical solutions (e.g. apps and robots) are already live and maybe you are our new colleague who can help us further develop the NIBC Digital Workforce!
You are a sparring partner for our business domains, all IT teams, product owners and other stakeholders. You analyse business processes, identify process improvements, design and develop the solutions needed and stay on top of the latest Hyperautomation trends. Your focus will be to:
Analyse business requirements, design and develop related processes
Support of the daily business related to the Automated Business Processes
Coordinate maintenance and technical changes of our Automation Platforms (e.g. regarding the CI/CD pipelines)
Further expand and develop the NIBC Automation Capability
Be a sparring partner for business, your IT team, product owners, and other stakeholders
As our Automation DevOps Engineer, you will become part of the Automation & Integration team. The Automation & Integration team works together with different business and IT teams to work on integrations and create solutions that will benefit the efficiency of NIBC's employees and its clients. The team consists of 11 engineers eager to take automation & integration to the next level. The values of our team are transparency, teamwork and fun. In this role you need to take initiative, be content as well as process driven, analytical and have a creative and flexible attitude. A (recently) achieved Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (e.g. computer science, Business Information Management, Econometrics)
Relevant experience in the field of Power Platform and RPA is a pre
Experience in programming (e.g. c#) or a relevant internship is a nice to have
Solid social and communication skills in English and/or Dutch which offers added value to both IT and business colleagues
You are creative and not afraid to think out of the box
You have well developed communicative skills
Interest in Robotic Process Automation (e.g., UiPath, Power Platform or Azure) or technologies alike
Experience with ITIL and Lean Six Sigma are advantages

The Talent Program kicks off with an onboarding week, during which you will receive a gamified introduction to NIBC and banking. Together with a diverse and international group of fellow analysts and colleagues you will participate in five days of networking and bonding, and become immersed in the bank’s business model.
After the onboarding week, you will determine your personal development plan together with your coach and manager. The plan will be tailored to you with a focus on personal-, professional- and technical growth. You will be allocated a personal budget to help you achieve your ambitions and work more time-efficient.
In a sequence of four, 2-day modules, you will receive one-on-one coaching as well as group training to kickstart your development plan. Learning by doing is key in this process – you will be challenged with many hands-on exercises and cases to hone your skills.
In parallel, you will start with your Think Yes Challenge. Together with a group of interdisciplinary analysts, you will initiate a project that contributes to bank-wide issues of strategic importance. It is an opportunity to develop your Think Yes mentality, make an impact, and gain exposure to top management. During the closing event you will pitch the results directly to NIBC’s managing board.
Internships at NIBC are a great opportunity to learn more about us and develop yourself. They last for a minimum of three months. Many interns are later hired as analysts, and may join our Talent Program. We believe that having responsibilities enables interns to grow faster.
