On Thursday May 30^th we will organize our traditional Trainee Trade Day where we recruit our new colleague in Trade. This selection day can be the perfect kickstart for a career in international trade. On this day, you will be challenged on several topics. Do you have the eye to spot the golden opportunity? Are you willing to take the risk if the reward is right? Do you play to win? Then our Trainee Trade Day on May 30^th is where you want to be!

At the end of this day, our final candidate will receive a contract as our new Trainee Trade and will start his or her exploration of the various pathways in our growing company.

The Cefetra Group consists of various agricultural and food ingredients trading and supply chain management companies, with leading brands within the ingredients business. Collectively we employ over 600 people across 35 offices in 20 countries around the world. We work closely together to guarantee the best possible service to our customers. We develop supply chains with suppliers and create value by sourcing raw materials and supplying those to the international food and feed industry. The job

As Trainee Trade you will learn all about the international Agri commodity trade. First you will start your career at the logistics department to get a thorough understanding of our supply chains. From there onwards your trade career will progress in steps up until the point where you will become a trader at Cefetra! You will understand the main drivers of profit and loss in the industry and consequently take commercial decisions to generate revenue. You will know how to work with the supply and demand fundamentals and how to collaborate with all our stakeholders.

You are

Most important is that you can be critical and precise, but also pragmatic when needed. To be successful within Cefetra, it is important to have a ‘self-starter’ mentality, be open minded, curious and entrepreneurial. In addition, you can identify with the following requirements:

• You finished your study in the field of economics, econometrics or business
• You are interested in commodity trading and the Agri business
• You are available to start in September
• You are fluent in Dutch and English, both verbal and written
