Op 2 oktober 2023 organiseert ons Governance, Risk en Compliance Services (GRCS) team een inhousedag op ons hoofdkantoor in Amstelveen! Tijdens dit event geven wij een inkijkje in ons werk, wat wij doen en hoe wij organisaties helpen in control te zijn. Natuurlijk sluiten we de dag af met een gezellige borrel!
Op het gebied van Risk & Compliance is KPMG het nummer één adviesbureau van Nederland. GRCS valt binnen de Risk & Regulatory suite van KPMG. Wij helpen organisaties om ‘in control’ te zijn over hun operationele en financiële processen door deze in kaart te brengen en te beoordelen of deze processen alle relevante risico’s afdekken, maar ook of deze effectief zijn. Daarnaast ondersteunen wij organisaties in het vaststellen van hun grootste risico’s en risicobereidheid. Hierbij kijken we niet alleen naar hard controls (bijvoorbeeld functiescheiding), maar besteden wij ook aandacht aan soft controls (cultuur en gedrag).
Onze klanten zijn veelal de grotere (internationale) organisaties die actief zijn in uiteenlopende sectoren. Dit betekent dat wij zowel bij een retailer over de vloer komen als bij banken. We streven naar het continu verbeteren van onze dienstverlening door het toepassen van innovatieve oplossingen (zoals data analyse) en aandacht voor de ontwikkeling van onze teamleden.
De inhousedag zal van start gaan met een presentatie over wie wij zijn en wat wij doen. Daarna nemen wij jullie mee in ons werk, door middel van een business case. Hierna krijg je uiteraard uitgebreid de gelegenheid om de sfeer van KPMG te proeven. Collega’s van GRCS staan klaar om al je vragen te beantwoorden over het werken voor onze afdeling en voor KPMG!
