Within the Cefetra group we buy, sell and distribute, in many countries, a total traded volume of around 20mln tons yearly. The traded volume mainly consists of grains and oilseeds used in the feed, food and fuel industries in Europe. By making use of both quantitative and qualitative analytics we support our trading activities. With the trend of EU end consumers focusing more on health and sustainability the Cefetra group increased its trading activities in trading specialties (organic grains/proteins, pulses, small grains, nuts, etc.).
The Cefetra group is seeking a market analyst who can strengthen the team by improving price discovery of specialties. Your analysis will be used by traders to enhance their decision making. You will be working closely with market research but also with quants, traders and risk management in our Rotterdam office.
The specialties market analyst is responsible for the entire process of price discovery. From collecting price and fundamental data to forecasting prices. The specialties market analyst will join an established team with data engineers, quants and fundamental analysts of grains and oilseeds.
